In honor of Labor Day, the Edgewater Athletic Association hosted the Parade of Athletes, an awards ceremony honoring the winners of this year’s Labor Day Olympics on Monday, September 2. The winners received medals and trophies for swimming, track, cheerleading, singing, a Baby Parade and other competitions.

The 75 Yard Dash Girls 15 and 16-Year-Old winners (l-r) Samantha Loeb, first place; Skylar Powers, third place; McKenzie Mirenda, second place and Sydney Freider, second place congratulated each other.
The 35 Yard Egg and Spoon Race Girls 9 and 10-years-old second place winner Angelina Benvenuto and first place champion Lauren Esposito proudly displayed their medals.
Women 21 and Over Tire and Tube third place honoree Marie Kearns (l) and first place champion Paula Mullane were honored at the ceremony.
