Firefighters responded to a water main break on Saturday, April 27 at Allerton and Bronxwood avenues. The pipe burst while construction was taking place at the site causing water to flood the street. Firefighters, Con Edison and NYC Environmental Protection were at the scene. Firefighters shut off the water until they were able to fix it and restore service to the community.
