In honor of Women’s History Month, Healthfirst saluted several local female leaders at its fourth annual Women’s History Month Community Awards on Thursday, March 28 at Maestro’s Caterers.

This year’s honorees were Patricia Stevenson, Harlem News Group owner; Reese Scott, Women’s World of Boxing founder; Olga Luz Tirado, Bronx Tourism executive director; Dr. Marcia V. Keizs, York College president; Queens Borough President Melinda Katz; Saundra Johnson, Medgar Evers Van Dyke Cornerstone Program director; Lillian Chan, TMI Trading Corp vice president of Sales and Marketing; Mabel Long, Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc director of Donor Management and Special Events; Joann Ariola Shanks, Medisys Health Network Intergovernmental Affairs director; Chaplin Ingrid Lewis-Scott, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams’ senior advisor and Acting Commissioner NYC Department of the Aging DFTA Caryn Resnick.
