Castle Hill Little League Wins State Championship
Congratulations to the Castle Hill Little League’s senior division on their recent New York State championship.
Coaches for the youth team, with players who are 15 and 16, said that they battled on the field to move past district competitions and also became the champs at regional.
They fell short of a chance to move onto the Little League World Series, but are looking to make a run for it again this season and create more Castle Hill Little League history and memories.
CYO N.Y. State Champs
St. Barnabas School’s 4th grade girls basketball team took home a Catholic Youth Organization state championship on Saturday, March 16.
The team won in a competition on Staten Island.
The team’s coach reports that schools buses for 100 people left Woodlawn to cheer on the team.
