In partnership with several South Asian and Caribbean businesses, organizations and community members, the Vishnu Mandir Hindu Temple heled its annual Bronx Diwali celebration on Saturday, November 17. In observance the Festival of Lights, this year’s event honored captain Jerry Kalicharan, 49th Precinct Auxiliary commanding officer; Mohamed A. Amin, International Dancer Zaman; Domenico Ciaccio, Ridgewood Savings Bank and the late Samantha Bisun.
