Police responded to a two-car collision last week in Longwood. According to the NYPD, 41st Precinct police officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision at East 156th and Fox streets on Tuesday, October 30 at 6:29 a.m. Upon arrival, police learned that a 47-year-old woman was driving her 2005 Suzuki northbound on Fox Street when she was struck by a 2009 Acura driven by a 62-year-old man traveling westbound on East 156th Street. Both drivers stated that they stopped at stop signs located at the intersection. The woman complained of pain to the right side of her head. The man refused medical attention. FDNY responded to the location and transported the woman to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No arrests or summonses were issued following the incident.
