The 49th Precinct helped students get ready for their return to the classroom during its second annual Back to School Giveaway on Friday, August 17 inside the precinct house. Co-sponsored by Councilman Mark Gjonaj, Bronx Community Council and Muslims for Humanity, the fun-filled event provided local youth with brand new backpacks and school supplies to ensure a successful academic year.
