Located at 4251 White Plains Road, Carifesta Restaurant celebrated over 20 years in the community with an afternoon dedicated to the entire family. The event included music, face painting, balloon animals, henna designs, a cotton candy machine and complimentary food tasting and giveaways for everyone. A special presentation and recognition was given to the Owners by the NYC Public Advocate’s Office for their commitment to keeping culture alive in the borough through authentic Guyanese-style cuisine and community giveback.
