Police need your help finding a gunman wanted for injuring a man in Mount Hope.

According to police, a 23-year-old man was shot in the leg on Wednesday, February 28 at around 10:50 p.m. at the northeast corner of Eastburn Avenue and East 175th Street. The gunman is described as a bearded male wearing a gray hoodie and sunglasses. The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. No arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls are kept strictly confidential.
