Time is not just a valuable commodity, but also the inspiration behind a brand new art exhibit. Lehman College Art Gallery hosted the opening reception for ‘TICK-TOCK: Time in Contemporary Art’ on Wednesday, February 28. The exhibit features over a dozen artists who illuminate time’s impact through a wide array of media displaying the traditional and contemporary tools humankind uses to chart time such as clocks, calendars, sundials, hourglasses, digital stopwatches and time-elapsed videos.
