Tuesday, January 31 at 7:40 p.m. — Cops responded to a grand larceny in front of 3603 Third Avenue. A 22-year-old woman was waiting for a bus when someone approached her from behind and snatched an iPhone from her hand. This person then fled into a nearby building. He is described a Black man, around 20-years-old and approximately five feet, eight inches tall. He is described as having a dark complexion and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket. No injuries were reported.

43 Precinct

Wednesday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m — Cops are looking for the perpetrator of a robbery from November. He is described as a male black between five feet, nine inches and six feet tall with short hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue and gray sweater, blue jeans, white sneakers and a green bucket style hat. At the corner of Ward Avenue and East 174th Street this man allegedly punched a 29-year-old man and took cash out of his hand. After the commission of the crime, he fled on on foot toward the rear of 1420 Bronx River Avenue.

45 Precinct

Saturday, February 18 at 4:46 p.m. — Police responded to a traffic fatality outside of the Edgewater Park development on a highway service road near Meagher Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, police found a 62-year-old man with trauma to his torso and head. An investigation revealed that the man was traveling southbound on the Throgs Neck Expressway Service Road on a black 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he veered left and struck a pole. He then hit a fence. The man expired after being taken via EMS to Jacobi.

47 Precinct

Friday, February 17 at 12:20 a.m.– Cops responded to an accident that on the Bronx River Parkway near the East 233rd Street exit that was the cause of two fatalities. A 44-year-old man and a 47-year-old man died after getting into an accident while traveling northbound on the parkway. They were in the left lane and when the driver failed to navigate a 2009 Mercedes around a bend in the road. The driver struck a right lane guardrail and flipped over the guardrail to rest at a tree on the side of the road (see photo).
