A local councilman saluted 12 distinguished local veterans in honor of Veterans’ Day
King Hosts Veterans Day Celebration
P.S. 153 Color Guard students and Councilman King (back, c) welcomed everyone to the event.
Councilman Andy King hosted the 12th Council District’s second annual Veterans Day Celebration on Friday, November 3 at Einstein Loop, Room 45 in Co-op City.
The event featured keynote speaker William E. Thomas of the Wounded Warrior Project and honored 12 distinguished local veterans for their service.
Some of the day’s honorees with members of the Co-op City American Legion Post 1571.
