42 Precinct

Tuesday, January 10 at 6:20 p.m. — A grand larceny was reported in the precinct, taking place on a exit staircase from a Southern Boulevard and Freeman Street subway station. A 59-year-old woman, the victim, was using the staircase when a person went into her bag and took her cellphone case.

The case held her cellphone, several bank cards, identification and other miscellaneous items. The individual fled the location on foot and there were no reported injuries during the incident. The person is described as a Black woman in her twenties who weighs about 200 pounds.

43 Precinct

Tuesday, December 20 at 7:30 p.m. — Cops report a robbery of a 73-year-old woman that took place in front of 1492 Saint Lawrence Avenue. Two people, a Hispanic man and a Latina woman, approached her from behind, grabbing the back of her coat and stealing her purse. They fled on food and the victim declined medical assistance. Police believe they know who the suspects are.

45 Precinct

Wednesday, January 18 at 1:30 a.m. — A 66-year-old man was the victim of an robbery and an assault near Tratman and Glebe avenues.

He was approached from behind by two men wearing hooded jackets and black packs. They punched on the side of his face. The assailants took the victims’ cellphone from his left pants pocket before fleeing the location.

48 Precinct

Tuesday, January 10 at 10:10 a.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of an infant having difficulty breathing at 2115 Honeywell Avenue. The infant was first taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and then moved to Montefiore Medical Center.

The two-month-old baby girl suffered serious injuries: a spinal fracture, retinal (eye) damage, a bruised femur (upper leg bone) and a broken tibia (lower leg bone).

Cops spoke to both parents and the Bronx Child Abuse Squad got involved in the case.

52 Precinct

Thursday, January 12 at approximately 6:00 a.m. — A 34-year-old woman was threatened with a gun inside of a residence on University Avenue during a dispute.

The incident has been classified as menacing.
