Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. honored a few distinguished leaders at his annual Ecuadorian Heritage Celebration on Thursday, September 21 at the Bronx County Building. This year’s honorees were General Consul of Ecuador Jorge Lopez, 11th District Supreme Court Justice judge Carmen Velasquez, Dr. Hector Bernabe and Amor 93.1 FM radio personality Gloria ‘Gloria B’ Broussard.
