Friday, September 1 at 11:32 p.m. — A robbery of an IRT 6 line passenger was reported to police. A man, described as Hispanic and last seen wearing a light blue and gray striped shirt, sat next to the 37-year-old woman on the train and repeatedly leaned up against her. He then punched the victim in the right arm. When she took out her cell phone to photograph him, the individual grabbed it and ran off the train at the Cypress Avenue stop.

43 Precinct

Saturday, August 26 at 7:10 p.m. –A robbery was reported to cops inside of the a dollar store located at 2054 Cross Bronx Expressway. A light complexioned man stole 15 chocolate bars. Upon being detained by the store’s manager, the individual threatened the manager. He told the manager “I should cut you” before running out of the store. The individual had long black hair in a pony tail, and may be either white or Hispanic. He is around 20-years-old and about five feet, ten inches tall.

48 Precinct

Tuesday, September 5 at 10:43 p.m. — Cops responded to a 911 call of man assaulted near Daly Avenue and East 180th Street. Upon arriving, cops found a 21-year-old man who was not responsive. The man had a gunshot wound to his head. EMS responded and transported the person to St. Barnabas Hospital. He was later pronounced dead.

49 Precinct

Tuesday, August 29 at 1:30 a.m. — Cops got a report of a robbery of a livery cab driver. He picked up three individuals on Bronxwood Avenue between Waring and Astor avenues. He drove them to a check cashing business at 2179 White Plains Road. After the three passengers exited the car, one of the individuals took out a knife and cut the driver numerous times on his left arm. The individuals demanded the driver’s money and then stole his cellphone. The group included two male blacks and one female black who were all around 25 years of age. The individuals fled the location towards Pelham Parkway.
