Bronx youngsters joined approximately 200 Police Athletic League Summer Day Camp children from all five boroughs on Thursday, July 27 in PAL’s annual Pennant Quest at DeWitt Clinton Park in Manhattan. The city-wide Pennant Quest brought to life PAL’s theme of ‘Music from Around the World’ with sixth to eighth grade teams representing different global music genres who competed in such games as tug of war, an obstacle course, banner and chant contest, ladder of knowledge and team spirt and sportsmanship.

Youngsters from PAL’s Webster-Giannone Center competed at the sporting event.
