Mothers Advocate For Medicaid

Three Bronx mothers whose children are patients at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore visited Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, July 12 to speak with Congressional representatives about the value of Medicaid and how it has enabled their children to receive life-saving care at CHAM.

As part of Speak Now for Kids Family Advocacy Day coordinated by the hospital, the mothers urged the representatives to protect health care coverage for the more than 30 million children Medicaid covers.
