Bronx Week Parade Marches Into History

Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. celebrated the grand finale of Bronx Week 2017 with the time honored Bronx Week Parade on Sunday, May 21.
During the 46th annual parade, hundreds of students from Bronx schools and youth organizations marched down Mosholu Parkway with the four new members of the Bronx Walk of Fame-Latin music superstar Prince Royce, hip hop pioneer Funkmaster Flex, ‘Orange is the New Black’ star Selenis Leyva and medical inventor Dr. Manny Villafana following their induction ceremony.

Bronx Week 2017 honoree Prince Royce (c) met with 44th Precinct detectives Oviedo (l) and Tejada.
‘Orange is the New Black’ actress Selenis Leyva marched in the parade following her induction into this year’s Bronx Walk of Fame.

The Angels gave a heavenly performance as they marched down Mosholu Parkway.
