Tuesday, May 2 at 5:00 p.m. — Five individuals approached a 53-year-old man near East 149th Street and Third Avenue and punched him in the face and head many times. Even after he fell to the ground, they continued to assault him while he was unconscious on the floor. They then fled. The victim suffered a fractured skull and bleeding in the brain. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Monday, May 8 at 10:50 a.m. — An assault on an 83-year-old man was reported to police as happening in front of 995 Fox Street. The elderly victim fell to the ground and lost consciousness. He suffered fractures to his nose and face and cuts to his forehead. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The individual cops are looking for, described as an Hispanic man in his late 30s, fled on Fox Street. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, blue jeans, multi-colored sweater and yellow workboots.
Wednesday, May 10 at 11:31 p.m. — Cops and the fire department responded a 911 call of a fire in a residential structure at 615 Faile Street. After the FDNY got the fire under control, two adult men were removed from the house, including a 36-year-old man and another man also in his 30s. Both were taken by ambulance to Lincoln Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Thursday, May 11 at 1:42 a.m.– Cops responded to a 911 call about an unconscious man near the back of 1541 Commonwealth Avenue. When they arrived, the found a 29-year-old man who was unresponsive, having received one gunshot wound to the head.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Thursday, April 20 at 2:15 p.m.– An robbery attempt was foiled by a man working behind the counter at 770 Burke Avenue. Two people went inside and attempted to rob the store at knifepoint. The tried to take money from the cash register. The victim fought off one of the people when he went behind the counter to open the register, and the would-be thieves ended up leaving the store empty-handed.
