Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and NYS Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli joined AARP ‘Operation: Stop Scams’ shredding event on Wednesday, May 3 at Bronx Borough Hall to help New Yorkers keep documents out of the hands of identity thieves.

The effort was part of a statewide series of event providing everyone free and secure destruction of personal financial records and other sensitive documents.
