The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore, the NYC Parks Department, the Wheelchair Sports Federation and Walk with a Doc hosted the inaugural Adaptive Sports Open House on Saturday, April 1 at the Williamsbridge Oval.
The free sporting event featured hands-on demonstrations, sample adaptive sports sessions and a one-mile walk with Montefiore doctors.
