Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz joined representatives from the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center and St. Frances of Rome Church in Wakefield on Monday, November 21 to pick up dozens of boxes containing hundreds of cans, boxes and jars of food collected by students from P.S. 7 and P.S. 81 and community members during the assemblyman’s annual holiday food drive.
The non-perishable food items along with many turkeys donated by Goodman Management, Kelly Ryans’ Bar and Restaurant and Ben’s Market will go to local families in need this holiday season.
