The Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel commemorated its 110th anniversary on Sunday, October 23 at Maestro’s Caterers.
Actor Dominic Chianese (1st on r) was presented an award and proclamation by Michael Mongiovi (l), Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Council vice chairman and Fr. Jonathan Morris, Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel pastor (2nd from r).

In honor of the parish’s incredible milestone, the congregation presented awards to parish worker Blanca Battaglia; famed ‘Sopranos’ and ‘The Godfather II’ actor Dominic Chianese and John Riley, Bronx superintendent of Schools in the Northwest/South Bronx Catholic Schools and Our Lady of Mount Carmel School principal.
