Catholic war veterans will now be recognized with a special license plate following legislation sponsored by Senator Jeff Klein and Assemblyman Peter Abbate that was signed into law on Thursday, July 28. Established in 1935, the Catholic War Veterans of the United States of America now joins many other veterans organizations recognized with their own unique plates.
