Friday, May 20, 9:41 a.m. — A bank robbery was reported to police at a Chase Bank at 4780 3rd Avenue. A man in his 40s who was six-feet-tall with a slim build passed a note to a bank employee stating that he wanted money. The man, last seen wearing a green sweater and a blue jacket, fled the scene.

49 Precinct

Thursday, May 19, 5:07 p.m. — Cops responded to a man shot inside of 810 Astor Avenue and found a 17-year-old man with a bullet wound to the torso. The man was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

50 Precinct

Thursday, May 19, 5:50 p.m. — A Chase Bank was robbed at 5656 Riverdale Avenue by a woman wearing a gray hoodie and sunglasses. She demanded money from a teller, and the teller complied. She is described as a white woman, 25-years-old to 30-years-old, with five feet, six inches.

52 Precinct

Monday, May 2, 8:30 a.m. — A grand larceny happened when three credit cards belonging to a 28-year-old man were used by two people at a shopping facility at 700 Exterior Street. Various household items were purchased worth about $674.

One of the alleged perpetrators is described as a black man seen wearing a Nike hooded sweatshirt with a white zipper and khaki pants. The second is black woman who was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a white zipper, jeans with rips on the knees and white shoes.
