The Bronx River Art Center held an opening reception on Friday, May 6 for its upcoming exhibit, ‘Africa: In Fashion and Fabric’, the second in a two-part series presented in association with the Bronx Council on the Arts’ ‘Bronx: Africa’ program. Africa: In Fashion and Fabric presented the work of several contemporary African fashion designers and artists including Archel Bernard, Jojo Abot, AFRI-NA-LADI and the Bombchel Factory.
