Assemblywoman Latoya Joyner joined Bridge Builders Community Partnership, a community-based organization assisting families and children residing in Highbridge, as it launched its Family Literacy Program last Friday, April 8 at 165 W. 169th Street. Joyner united with BBCP that evening for a prestigious ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Bridge Haven Literacy Corner which was named after the assemblywoman. It will provide Bridge Haven Family Transitional Residence families and children better access to books and educational materials.
