Comptroller Scott Stringer visited the Bronx Times Reporter office on Friday, March 4, meeting with editorial staff. The comptroller spoke about several of his initiatives, including creating a land bank of city-owned vacant lots that would be used to pair non-profit housing developers with sites that could be used to build affordable housing. He also spoke about using community-based planning and engaging community boards on land use issues.
