Shooting outside Edenwald Houses leaves officer dead

On the morning of Monday, September 29 at around 12:30 a.m., a police officer was shot and killed at East 229th Street and Laconia Avenue, just outside Edenwald Houses. The suspect was shot shortly afterwards.
