Save the date: Fair at the Square to take place on May 12

Save the date.

This year’s Fair at the Square, being organized by the newly recognized Westchester Square Business Improvement District, promises to build on the success of previous years, organizers said.

The Fair at the Square will take place on Saturday, May 12, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Square, said Joe Regina, programming director for the Westchester Square Merchants Association.

“The committee is working on the logistics, and we hope to exceed the success of last year’s celebration that attracted over 7,000 people to our multi-cultural celebration of the rebuilding of our great area for a great future,” Regina said. “The schedule for this year’s event will be an all-day concert series, merchant’s displays, kid’s activities area, art displays, artisans, vendors, city services, health services, arts and crafts, games, raffles, food and more.”

This year’s Fair at the Square is being sponsored by the Westchester Square Business Improvement District, the Westchester Square Merchants Association, and the Bronx Council on the Arts, Regina said. The event is being produced by MAS Marketing and Advertising Solutions, Regina stated.
