A ground breaking ceremony was held at Ranaqua Park on Tuesday, May 23 to mark the start of $3.5 million renovations as part of the Community Parks Initiative.
The project will reconstruct the playground and synthetic field and install new play equipment for children ages two to 12, a seating plaza, new lighting, swings, game tables, drinking foundations and a bike rack.
The project is anticipated to be completed by this December.
