41st Precinct
— It was reported to police that on Saturday, Jan. 14, at approximately 8:55 p.m., in front of 870 E. 162 St., a 44-year-old male was walking at the location when he was approached by an unknown individual. The individual displayed a firearm and demanded money. When the victim did not comply, the individual struck the victim multiple times about the head with the firearm. The individual then fled on foot. EMS transported the victim to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition.
42nd Precinct
— It was reported to police that on Feb.10 at approximately 3:15 p.m., at the corner of Washington Avenue and Claremont Parkway, two males began shooting at each other, although no one was hit during the standoff and no injuries were reported. The incident location is next to Mott Hall Bronx High School, located at 1595 Bathgate Ave.
One of the suspects is a male with a light complexion, medium build and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black winter hat, a black jacket, red sweatpants, black sneakers and a multicolored backpack. The second suspect is a male with a dark complexion, thin build, last seen wearing a black ski mask, a white hooded sweatshirt with the word “Essentials” on the front, white sweatpants and white sneakers.
44th Precinct
— On Monday, Feb. 20, at approximately 10:18 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a residential fire at 1133 Ogden Ave., a 24-floor apartment building within the confines of the 44th Precinct. FDNY personnel also responded and proceeded to subdue the blaze, where they discovered an unconscious 45-year-old male inside of an apartment on the 24th floor.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health & Hospitals/ Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead. Three additional occupants with non-life-threatening injuries, a 46-year-old female, a 15-year-old male and an 11-month-old male who were inside of the residence, were also transported by EMS to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem and are all listed in stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
— On Saturday, Feb. 11, at 9:40 a.m., at the intersection of Grand Concourse and East 170 Street, a 60-year-old male victim was walking when an unknown individual reached into the victim’s pocket and removed $1,200, an ID card and a Medicare card before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.
— On Monday, Feb. 13, at approximately 3:13 p.m., a group of individuals approached a 37-year-old male victim in front of 110 E. 53 St. The individuals displayed a firearm and removed the victim’s property and two-wheel vehicle before fleeing northbound on River Avenue. No injuries reported.
— It was reported to police that on Feb. 2, at approximately 3 p.m., an unknown individual approached a residential apartment building located in the vicinity of Teller Avenue and East 165 Street. The individual tried unsuccessfully to get into the apartment using a crow bar. No property was removed and no injuries have been reported, although there was damage to the door.
The individual is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 40 years of age and approximately 5’10” in height.
— It was reported to police that on Saturday, Feb. 4, at approximately 8:40 p.m., a 25-year-old female was walking near Walton Avenue and East 170 Street when a male approached her from behind and placed his arms around her shoulders and touched her breast. The individual then fled on foot.
— On Wednesday, Feb. 8, at approximately 9 p.m., a 19-year-old female was walking when a male followed her into a residential building in the vicinity of West 164th Street and Woodycrest Avenue. The suspect followed the victim into the elevator and demanded she take off her pants. The male proceeded to forcibly remove the victim’s cellphone and punched her in the head. The victim started screaming for help, and when the elevator reached the 6th floor, the individual threw the victim’s cell phone into the hallway and fled the location. The victim was treated on scene for minor injuries to the head.
The individual is described as a male, dark complexion and medium build last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black hat, black pants, black and blue sneakers and holding a black cane.
46th Precinct
— On Wednesday, Feb. 15, at approximately 5:21 p.m., police responded to calls of shots fired at 273 E. 176 St., in the confines of the 46th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 21-year-old male with gun shot wounds to the torso. The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
The deceased victim was identified as Isaac Collins of 1180 Forest Ave. Police are requesting the public supply them with info concerning four males seen fleeing westbound shortly after the incident.
47th Precinct
— On Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 8:22 p.m., at the corner of Katonah Avenue and East 235th Street, an unidentified male met a 29-year-old male victim at the location. The male expressed interest on Facebook Marketplace in purchasing the victim’s Apple MacBook. Upon meeting, the victim showed the suspect the MacBook when the suspect grabbed the item and fled on foot without paying. The victim chased the suspect and sustained bruising and scratches after a fight to regain his laptop. The suspect fled with the laptop in a dark colored BMW.
The victim was not hospitalized as a result of this incident.
48th Precinct
— On Monday, Feb. 13, at approximately 6:57 p.m. police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 689 E. 187 St., within the confines of the 48th Precinct.
Two males arrived at the location on a motorized scooter. The passenger of the scooter discharged multiple rounds from a firearm, striking the victim multiple times. Both suspects then fled southbound on Beaumont Avenue. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
One male suspect is described as having a light complexion and last seen wearing a black jacket with the hood up and red and white sneakers.The second male is described as a male, light complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket with the hood up.
50th Precinct
— The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection to a menacing with a firearm incident that occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct on Nov. 27.
At approximately 3:02 a.m., in front of 5668 Broadway at the Playoffs Sports Lounge, there was a dispute between staff and the sought individual. The individual was asked to leave the premises, at which time he went to a motor vehicle and returned a short time later, displaying a silver firearm to the security guards at the location. The individual then fled the location north on Broadway in a silver Honda Accord.
The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 30 years old and last seen wearing a black jacket, white and black sneakers, a gold chain and a cast on his right arm.
