On Saturday, February 1, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Eta Omega Omega Chapter and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated Bronx Alumnae Chapter held a ‘Pink Goes Red’ event for American Heart Month at Forest Gym, 955 Tinton Avenue.
The event featured self defense courses for kids, zumba for adults, a smoothie presentation, free blood pressure and glucose screenings as well as health and nutrition tips.
