Bronx Community Board 11 held a health fair on Sunday, May 18, at the Bronx House, located at 990 Pelham Pkwy. S.
The fair, which ran from 12-4 p.m., featured blood pressure screenings, HIV testing, dental screenings and information about nutrition. Health care and home care providers and members of the FDNY were also on hand to provide assistance and answer questions from attendees.









Attendees also had the opportunity to take part in free demos and to receive giveaways.
The organizations that partnered with Bronx Community Board 11 to put on the event included Einstein Community Health Outreach (ECHO) Free Clinic, the Alzheimer’s Association, R.A.I.N. Total Care Inc., MetroPlus Health Plan, Ridgewood Savings Bank, Union Community Health Center, AARP, NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi | North Central Bronx, the Bold Living Program, LiveOnNY, S&A Unified Homecare and the Greater New York City Black Nurses Association.
