Bronxites above enjoyed their day in the sun as this year’s beach season opened. NYC Parks Commissioner Mitchell Silver and Bronx Parks Commissioner Iris Rodriguez-Rosa co-hosted the Orchard Beach Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, May 22 at Orchard Beach Promenade.
