NYPD seeks suspect in knife-point robbery on Grand Concourse in the Bronx

The NYPD is looking for a knife-wielding man wanted for a robbery that took place in the Bronx earlier this month.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, in front of 2384 Grand Concourse. The victim, a 34-year-old man, allegedly arranged to meet the suspect via Facebook Marketplace to purchase a chain.

When the two met, the suspect displayed a knife and forcibly took the chain from the victim’s hand. The alleged thief then fled the scene in a gray Honda Accord, heading northbound on Grand Concourse.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium build and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a black t-shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers.
