Man Fatally Stabbed In Mott Haven

Police secured the blood stained portion of sidewalk where a 31-year-old man visiting his family was fatally stabbed by another man.

Police are on the hunt for an individual who murdered a man visiting family at a Bronx shelter. According to police, the 31-year-old man was stabbed in front of Ketty’s Place on Jackson Avenue in Mott Haven on Thursday, July 13 around 12:15 p.m. The assailant described as a 6-foot Hispanic man wearing blue shorts and a white T-shirt was seen fleeing south on Jackson Avenue after committing the heinous crime. The victim, whose identity was not released, was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, but died from his injuries. No arrests have been made in this ongoing investigation.
