The Bronx’s very own M.S. 89 Panthers cheerleading squad performed for a sold out crowd of 70,000 people at the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl on Saturday, December 31 in Orlando, FL. The Panthers’ many victories last season earned them the distinct honor of being one of the top eastern region cheerleading squads invited to perform in the Citrus Bowl. All teams invited to perform in the Citrus Bowl are trophy winners from the Universal Cheerleaders Association, Universal Dance Association, National Cheerleaders Association and National Dance Alliance.
The squad members had a great time during their meaningful trip as many of them had never traveled outside of New York prior to the performance.
