Late Night Fire Inside Reyna Supermarket

Firefighters combated a late night fire at a Reyna Supermarket last week.

According to a FDNY spokesman, approximately 60 firefighters and 12 FDNY units responded to a first floor fire on Tuesday, August 8 at 9:50 p.m inside the Reyna Supermarket at 13 E. Tremont Avenue.

The FDNY gained control over the blaze on Wednesday, August 9 at 12:41 a.m.

One firefighter sustained minor injuries and was transported to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
