King holds turkey giveaway, offers resident assistance

On Tuesday, November 24, Councilman Andy King offered residents an abundance of constituent services, ranging from free immigration assistance to free health-care insurance enrollment and free civic legal consultation at his district office. In addition, King was able to spread holiday cheer with an impromptu turkey giveaway. Before the giveaway, King held a press conference with Victor Bell, Metro Plus associate executive director of marketing and Andrea Walters, Local 371 associate secretary treasurer, along with several constituents, to urge residents who do not have health insurance, or need to renew their plan through the NYS Marketplace, to do so before Thursday, December 31.
