Edward Tavarez, a barber school student and graduate of Osborne Association’s Jails 2 Jobs program, returned to the Osborne Association office on Westchester Avenue in the Bronx to offer haircuts on July 24.

Tavarez, who credits the program for its invaluable support during his reentry, wanted to give back to the organization that helped him transition after incarceration. Through Jails 2 Jobs, Tavarez found a safe space to explore his emotions and access the resources he needed.
