Hot fun in the summertime at the Glebe Avenue block party in Zerega

A block party on Glebe Avenue near Westchester Avenue was more than just fun on Saturday, August 9. There were visits from Senator Jeff Klein and Deputy Borough President Aurelia Greene. There was also mural painting over graffiti on a nearby building by artist J. SinXero Beltran. SinXero’s goal is to create murals all along the number 6 IRT Line, visible all the way from Hunts Point to Pelham Bay. The building that was chosen for a mural is Bob Bieder’s, a block party coordinator.
