Living Legends: Three Kings Music Concert featuring Los Pleneros de La 21

Mulchfest at Starlight Park

Wrap up the holiday season by bidding farewell to your Christmas trees at Mulchfest. Treecycle your Christmas trees by dropping them off at the parking lot near the Bronx River House, where the trees will be fed into a wood chipper. The wood chips will be used as mulch throughout the park. Hot chocolate will also be served at this event. Christmas tree smelling sachet and bags of NYC finished compost will be given out as well.

Holiday Train Show

While the holiday season may be over, Bronx residents still have the opportunity to visit this winter wonderland and see the enchanting train displays. The miniature cityscape features lively model trains and plant-based replicas of notable New York landmarks. With unique holiday gifts, yummy treats, a festive decor and twinkling lights, there is fun to be had at this event for people of all ages.

Why Knot?

Knitters and crocheters of all levels are invited to the City Island Library to make scarves and hats together. These creations will be donated to a nonprofit organization supporting veterans. In addition to there being an instructor on hand, participants will also learn from each other as they make their scarves and hats.
