Friends of a notable Bronx community historian, the late Morgan Powell, held a memorial remembrance service in his honor at Andrew Freedman Home on the Grand Concourse on Tuesday, October 28. Attendees remembered the deceased historian, known for his walking tours and his interest in the Bronx River and the borough’s African-American history, with poems, speeches, and music.
