Fordham University’s Commuter Student Services, which aims to help students who live off campus, held its biannual Midday Breakfast celebration on Thursday, April 10, at the campus’s McShane Center.

This event is a tradition that began at Fordham in 2019 as a way to mirror the school’s Midnight Breakfast, held shortly before finals. The Midday Breakfast provides commuting students with the chance to take part in the same type of celebration, but at a more accessible time for them. Additionally, the Midday Breakfast helps to build a stronger sense of community between commuting students and resident students.

The theme for the event was “The Grand Carnival.” There were games, snacks, a photo booth, raffles for prizes and more to entertain attendees.

Fordham students Vanessa Ramos and Ben Manigbas organized and hosted this year’s celebration. The event was also sponsored by the Commuter Student Services and the Office of Student Involvement. Food delivery and setup came courtesy of Barino’s Market Catering.
