A two-alarm fire broke out in a vacant building in Fordham over the weekend. According to a FDNY spokesman, 25 FDNY units and 106 fire and Emergency Medical Service personnel responded to a fire at a three-story building on 2582 Briggs Avenue on Sunday, April 16 at 3:10 p.m. A total of three non-life threatening injuries, two to civilians and one to a firefighter, were reported from the incident. One victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment while two were treated on scene. The fire marshals have yet to determine the cause of the blaze. Photo by Edwin Soto
