Keeping with an Italian tradition which can be traced back centuries, the Ferragosto Italian Festival was held Sunday, September 13 in Belmont’s ‘Little Italy’. Hosted by the Belmont Business Improvement District, this celebration honors the Ferragosto tradition recognizing the end of the harvest season and enjoying the fruits of the season’s labor. This year’s edition featured tons of delicious Italian cuisine and live performances from Two Gents and The Lady, violinist David Rubertone, the 70’s Project, singer Sal Valentinetti and Commedia Dell’Arte.
Guests feasted their eyes and filled their stomaches with a rotisserie cooked pig that was prepared in front of them.
