The NYC Department of Sanitation sent 31 workers to Puerto Rico on Friday, October 6 to help the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency in coordinating a debris management support team to assist in debris clearance and disposal operations.
The team expects to be in Puerto Rico for two weeks.
