Photos: CM Dinowitz, Speaker Adams meet with North Bronx residents to discuss important community investments

New York City Council Member Eric Dinowitz and Council Speaker Adrienne Adams toured several community hubs in the North Bronx on Wednesday, April 30, to discuss key local investments with residents and community leaders.

Joined by members of the City Council’s Finance Division, Dinowitz and Adams paid visits to Tracey Towers at 40 W. Mosholu Pkwy. S. in Bedford Park and the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center at 3450 Dekalb Ave. in Norwood. Dinowitz spoke with residents of Tracey Towers, which is part of his district, about investments being made.

At the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center, the council members and representatives from the Council’s Finance Division met with local residents to highlight key investments supporting both the center and the broader Norwood community. Among the funding initiatives discussed were $80,000 from the Speaker’s Initiative and additional annual discretionary funding secured by Dinowitz.
