Cub Scout Pack 162 collected food outside Big Deal Supermarket on Morris Park Avenue on Saturday, December 16. The pack was taking part in an annual food collection for the 49th Precinct Community Council. The food drive benefits local banks and pantries. The participants in the food drive collect roughly 15,000 to 16,000 pounds of food each year.
